Win a Tin With Threadboneextra

The Threadbone Corporation's Annual Christmas Crossword Prize this year is a generous offering even by the Corporation's exalted standards and is likely to prove an ideal Christmas gift for those who like "a Scottish shortie in their mouth", says Crossword compiler Ten Downe-Achros. "It's is a generous offering even by the Corporation's exalted standards and is likely to prove an ideal Christmas gift for those who like "a Scottish shortie in their mouth" ", he said said at the festive brain-teaser's launch in the Cerebral Puzzles Lounge of The Threadbone Corporation's HQ in Great Heaving yesterday. One lucky winner will receive not two, but one tin of Threadboneextra Scottish shorties. Two almost as lucky runners up will receive a full colour glossy close up photograph of the winner's tin.

Always a popular feature of the Christmas holidays - especially amongst those staying with family and friends and - understandably - wanting to get away from it all - the Jumbo Crossword is likely to keep even the most experienced puzzler (and Great Heaving watcher!) engrossed for minutes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or any other day before the competition closes on 22nd December.

Answers should be submitted by hand to The Crossword Puzzle Reception Centre, Threadbone Adjunct Services Building, Great Heaving by 12 noon on 22nd. Terms and Conditions apply. Travel expenses will not be refunded. Disappointed entrants will not be compensated. Mrs Amanda J Threadbone's decision is final. Predictions with regard to the likely winner (step forward Enrique!) are, if true, entirely fortuitous.
