New Dawn For New Porn?

Progressives who might ordinarily take a dim view of top shelf magazines were left "up a creek without a paddle" today as a new politically correct soft porn magazine from the ever enterprising Punanni Press hit the news stands*. Billed as "Dorset's first non-binary porn mag", Playperson Magazine, promises to mix up the usual diet of bums, boobs and dangly bits, by ensuring they are all there but not necessarily in the places and configurations you might expect them.

* ie all branches of Edna's Your Local Stopshop

Playperson is the brainchild of the Punanni Press's veteran Managing Editor Meri Trishus who has proven more than adept at reading the market. "Confusion about gender has become common, fashionable and a hot topic in nursery school playgrounds, student unions, police canteens, dentists' waiting rooms, railway station toilets etc; indeed wherever chai lattes are the drink of choice. We like to think we are adding to the febrile debate by bringing totally unfiltered and uninformed content to the trans/gender fluid party allowing people to see it all for themselves in the context of a private, non-threatening space".

We asked the Punanni Press's veteran Managing Editor Meri Trishus questions to which we feel sure concerned readers will want answers:

PT. So does the new magazine take a stance on any or all of the issues?

MT. "We try to avoid judgemental attitude since it tends to affect sales. Whatever floats your boat we will cater for it and if your boat list to one side, changes course or is generally unsure which furrow its ploughing**, its all fine by us - as long as we can get a close up shot of course".

** Surely a mixed metaphor at best [Ed]. I think it's to keep up the low grade innuendo [Sub Ed] You can plough my furrow anytime you like [Social Media Editor]. You are awful but I like you [Dickless Emery]

PT. Is it in any sense educational or helping to shape the debate intelligently?

MT. "No."

PT. Does it serve a wider public good?

MT. "Seriously?"

PT. Who is the magazine aimed at?

MT. Anyone with £12.99 to spare

PT. Is it a "difficult" read and is anyone likely to be offended

MT. As long as you can appreciate a well focussed studio image and like the occasional POV perspectives yo will cope. And yes it will inevitably offend: mainly those who can't afford it and/or have particularly vigilant partners.
