Having passed Level 1, the latest submission in the You Are Professor Thrupiece And I Claim My £10 Competition has been passed on to second level of scrutiny, Competition scrutineers Threadbone Scrutiny Ltd announced today. Though the entry from Nigel Courtauld-Institute and Richard Loewe-Tekk joint CEOs of Designs'R'Us the once famous Frome St Quintin-based graphic design company has been declared "undoubtedly authentic" by no less an authority than Ron Nasty Editor in Chief of the Sydling St Nicholas Sun, official Thrupiece image rights curators Thrupiece Images Inc have yet to add their seal of approval.
Messrs Courtauld-Institute and Loewe-Tekk have been keeping a low profile since the infamous 2017 Branscombe Airshow Brochure fiasco [Details HERE] which led to the loss of Designs'R'Us's Official Threadbone Corporation Partner status. The couple have struggled to find work ever since and sceptics believe their entry into the You Are Professor Thrupiece And I Claim My £10 Competition may be little more than a publicity stunt aimed at bringing the two cottage-sharers back before the public.
"I believe that their entry in to the You Are Professor Thrupiece And I Claim My £10 Competition may be little more than a publicity stunt aimed at bringing the two cottage-sharers back before the public", says veteran media watcher and sceptic Priti Sin-Aacle, adding "Call me pretty cynical, but am I alone in suspecting that there is a connection between the relaunch of their company, their purchase of Photoboneshop Re-Imaging Software and the sudden "appearance" of this picture?".
Only time will tell of course, but Thrupiece watchers will be on the alert; some perhaps hoping against hope that the latest siting of the Professor - disturbing as it would be if authenticated - will at last shed light on his whereabouts and give some clues to the life he has been leading since his disappearance more than a decade ago.
